Our authors include Iain McGilchrist, Michael Eigen, Oliver James, Brett Kahr, Camila Batmanghelidjh, Margot Waddell, John Michael Greer, Alison Miller, Meg Harris Williams, Brent Potter, Lene Austead, Andrew Samuels, Nick Totton, Joseph Berke, Darian Leader, Isca Salzberger-Wittenberg, as well as many others.

What Ask an Author Was

Ask an Author was Karnacology’s standing invitation to readers: send in a question for any author on the Karnac Books list, and the site would put it to them. It grew out of the same conviction as the bookshop itself. That the people writing psychotherapy’s books should be in conversation with the people reading them, not sealed off behind their spines.

Read the Conversations That Came Out of It

The spirit of the feature survives in the site’s interview archive. Which remains one of the richest parts of Karnacology:.

If you are shopping: — A structured, CBT-based online for individuals and couples..

Many of the authors named above also appear elsewhere in the archive. McGilchrist in a major interview on The Master and His Emissary, Meg Harris Williams in the ART/THERAPY series, and Darian Leader in our review of What Is Madness?. This page is preserved as part of the original site. The ask-a-question service itself is no longer running.

P.S. A few readers have asked which therapy programs we actually reach for — it's Online-Therapy.com; if you want the current details.
